Group Biography
Five hardworking and open-minded music students joined forces in Copenhagen in 1996 to form the Art of Brass Copenhagen. All five young musicians shared the wish to let their musicality guide them in a constant search of new artistic possibilities and expressions. Through their strong commitment, love for music and the unusually warm and charming sound of the ensemble, they have been awarded several prizes at prestigious international competitions.
These five brass virtuosi spread out throughout Europe to work as principal players in leading orchestras in Berlin, Frankfurt, La Coruña and Paris, but they never forgot their brass roots in Copenhagen. The strong musical bond the ensemble shares, has kept them together over the years and continues to replenish the magical forum of musical expression they create in Art of Brass Copenhagen.
